Domestic & International Shipping

We offer shipping within Australia and to most countries worldwide.
However, we do not ship to the United States or Germany due to increased fraudulent activity affecting our store.

International shipping is charged at a fixed rate of $40 AUD.
International orders do not qualify for free shipping.

Important:
We cannot ship international orders weighing 5kg or more.
If your order exceeds this limit, we will contact you to modify or cancel the order.


Shipping Options & Rates (Australia Only)

Free Shipping

  • Orders over $100 AUD
  • Excludes heavy items (5kg and above)

Flat Rate Shipping

  • $15 AUD for orders under $100 AUD

Heavy Items (5kg and above)

  • Do not qualify for free shipping
  • Additional shipping charges may apply depending on weight and destination
  • Customers will be notified if extra costs are required

Order Processing Times

We aim to dispatch all orders next business day for orders placed before 7pm AEST.

Please note:

  • Next‑day dispatch is an aim, not a guarantee
  • Orders placed during sales or peak seasons may have slightly longer processing times
  • We do not currently offer local pickup

Shipping Method

All parcels are sent via Australia Post and include tracking.

A tracking number will be emailed once your order has been dispatched.


Express Post

If you require Express Post:

  • Please leave a note at checkout requesting Express Post
  • If your order’s postage payment does not cover Express Post, we will send a separate invoice for the additional amount
  • Express orders are shipped only after the additional invoice is paid

Insurance

Standard Australia Post services do not include insurance.

If you would like your parcel insured:

  • Please leave a note at checkout requesting insurance
  • We will contact you with the additional cost
  • Insurance will only be added once full payment is received

Authority to Leave (ATL)

If you request Authority to Leave (parcel left without signature):

  • Australia Post determines whether ATL is allowed (we cannot override this)
  • Once tracking shows “Delivered”, Paper Flourish cannot accept responsibility for missing or stolen parcels
  • ATL deliveries are made at the customer’s own risk

Lost, Missing, or Delayed Parcels

When tracking shows “Delivered”:

If Australia Post confirms delivery to the address provided, Paper Flourish is not responsible for missing parcels.

This includes ATL deliveries.

When tracking does NOT show delivery:

If your parcel is delayed, stuck in transit, or appears lost:

  • We will assist you in lodging an investigation with Australia Post
  • Resolution depends on Australia Post’s findings
  • Insurance (if purchased) may apply

Incorrect or incomplete addresses:

If an incorrect address was provided:

  • Paper Flourish is not responsible for loss or delay
  • If the parcel is returned to us, reshipping costs must be paid by the customer

Returned Parcels (Undeliverable or Unclaimed)

If your parcel is returned to us because:

  • The address was incorrect
  • Delivery attempts failed
  • The parcel was not collected
  • International customs refused or returned the parcel

Reshipping fees apply.
Refunds (if applicable) exclude original shipping costs.


International Shipping (Outside Australia)

  • Flat rate of $40 AUD
  • No free shipping on international orders
  • Orders 5kg and over cannot be shipped internationally
  • Customs duties, VAT, taxes, or import fees are the responsibility of the customer
  • Delays caused by customs or international carriers are outside our control

If an international parcel is returned to us due to non-payment of customs fees, shipping charges are non‑refundable.


Partial Shipments

We do not split orders into partial shipments.

If you would like part of your order shipped separately:

  • Additional postage fees apply
  • Partial shipment will occur only after the additional amount is paid

Packaging & Damaged Items

We take care to package your order securely.

If your order arrives damaged:

  • Please notify us within 7 days of delivery
  • Include clear photos of the packaging and damaged items
  • We will assess and advise next steps in line with Australian Consumer Law
