What's Happening & Highlights

Hi there Everyone.

We’ve had another fantastic week of fun and creating here at Paper Flourish this week!

A lot of excellent stock arriving this week including a full refill of Couture Creations 12x12 Leather D Ring Albums, with more of the same arriving some time this week.

We had an awesome night at Flourish Friday, getting our craft on and enjoying a Mexican feast followed by a wealth of awesome homemade treats thanks to the beautiful girls that join us every month.

The team have been crafting away to present some absolutely amazing Lessons for December, and all of us are trialling new products that we may not have used before. It’s been a tonne of fun and if you’ve been catching us on Facebook, you would be seeing our posts – the successes and the “opportunities”. Ask Helen about Nuvo Glimmer Paste, or more importantly how she found a new way of blinging up her Puppy! Funny story…

Thanks to everyone who came out to support our Paper Roses Promotion. Look out for some other promo’s coming up as we edge closer to Christmas.

Can’t wait to see you in store soon.

Mandii, Ruth and The Team.

Product Inspiration - Ranger Dye Ink

We often get asked about the differences in stamping inks so this week we are focusing on the Ranger Dye Inks to bring you more information on how these beautiful inks work.

Dye inks are perfect for stamping directly on your projects when you are wanting a crisp and clear, permanent image.  These inks are waterproof and fade resistant so ideal for using on both cards or mixed media projects when you may wish to use a water medium over the top and not detract from the stamped image below.

The staff at Paper Flourish love these Inks and regularly use them on their projects.

This video shows some fantastic ideas of how to use the Ranger Dye Inks and a good tip on how to get your long strip stamps straight on our acrylic block for stamping.  For a review on the inks just skip to the last 4 mins of the video.

One of the greatest assets of this ink is that it stamps true right from the start, it doesn't soften very much after stamping, so you know what colour you are getting right away.  Many dye inks will soften a lot after stamping so you need to wait a bit before knowing the exact colour you will have.  The other wonderful thing about these Ranger Dye Inks, is the beautiful bright and vibrant colour range.  They really are colours with POP!

If you love to keep swatches of the colours of inks you have, Jennifer McGuire has a great download on her site.  You can find that here:
