As Christmas has disappeared into the sunset and the New Year is well underway, it is a good time to reflect on the past and make plans for the future. I know many of you have wondered about the future of Paper Flourish and I would like to elaborate on the highlight of 2019.  After a change of management in May 2019, it is with excitement that I can safely say we have stabilised Paper Flourish, the business is out of the woods and in safe hands. As long as we are needed, and have your support and patronage our physical store is here to stay!!

As all good businesses do, we also have made plans and some changes to the way we will do things in 2020.
  • We have set a target of mid-February for our on-line store to be fully functional.
  • No doubt you have noticed changes in the new look of the weekly Newsletter. Today is no exception. Taking the time to look through I am sure you will notice it is sharper, easier to read, and quicker to access content that sparks your interest.
  • A major development at Paper Flourish is the closure of the shop on Sundays.  Due to the very few customers through on a Sunday, and to avoid burn-out for Vanessa and myself, it has been necessary to make this decision. BUT, with the new on-line store, you will now have the opportunity to shop on-line in the comfort of your own home.
  • Due to the cost of catering for full events, it has become necessary for us to collect deposits for these functions. Please read the instructions carefully when booking into classes, and if a deposit is required can you please phone the store, a deposit will be taken over the phone.
  • Resuming our field trips to the Riverland is certainly going to be one of the highlights in 2020.
  • We have planned 2 - 3 retreats for the avid Paper crafters, details will be released through our Newsletters and Facebook. We will also be attending the Marion Fair and Salisbury Fair. There may be some plans for a Statewide retreat as well??
  • New teachers with new ideas are coming out of the wood-work.  Keep your eyes open for these - quilling in March is one example
  • Our very own new product range with lots of different paper creations to inspire.
  • A guest teacher monthly chosen from our Paper Flourish customers.
  • We will be establishing a new Scrapping Day and/or Night called Scrapathon. This will replace the existing Scrapaholics Anonymous, Friday Flourish and Saturday Flourish.
I take this opportunity to say Thank You for all your support through 2019.  I know you will not be disappointed with all the amazing plans and programs we have for you in 2020.
Regards Ruth.
