Wild Aster Flower with Marina $20

Marina has made for you these wild aster flower cards in gorgeous hues of pink and purple. You will learn the entire flower making process from start to finish, beginning with stamping and colouring the petals, die cutting using coordinating dies, and lastly the shaping technique.  These cards are bright, cheery, easy to make and great for any occasion.

We hold a FREE Cardmakers Club each month.  Join in on the fun, get a monthly challenge and share your creations with each other to inspire and motivate!

Die-cutting Machine Demo with Ruth-Free
Saturday 2nd November 11am-12pm

Through this class Ruth will give you all her information about how to use and care for your die-cutting machine, the differences between machines, the price differences, manual and electric machines, and which machine may suit your needs. You will be shown various techniques including how best to keep your plates flat, how to get the best cut from your dies, the use of die release paper, how to use your embossing folders, and how to emboss your dies. Lots of information, hints and tips.

Inky Cards with Vanessa $22

Come and have a play with Distress Oxide Inks and fun techniques. You’ll be creating gorgeous cards with a splash of colour and beautiful golden highlights. Join Vanessa as you marble with Distress Oxides to create cards for any card lover.

Emboss powders, so many to choose from. But how often do we get the chance to play with them? Sonia will reignite the fun of Embossing powders in this hour-long technique. Learn how to use Emboss powders in different ways and really get the most out of this gorgeous product. You will even get to have a play as Sonia goes through the process step by step.

This month Emma has designed a set of 3 Tags for you to create. You will get to work with textures including metallic paints, waxes, pre-made moulded shapes and more. Emma has decorated these tags with so much product. Come and join Emma in this creative journey class.

Shimmery Christmas Technique with Debbi $10

This is a new technique not shown before at Paper Flourish.  Everyone  was so amazed at the fabulous result on these cards Debbi has designed.  So effective for such easy, simple cards.  Well worth the cost of $10 for this extended technique in which you will make 2 stunning, sparkly cards, but if desired can be made shabby and matt.

Easy Apricot Cards with Ruth $23

Lost in Paradise Album with Jude $110
Friday 8th November 10am-4pm
Friday 22nd November 6pm-12am

Jude is back this month with another bigger, and more complex album.  Drop into Paper Flourish and look for yourself.  Just amazing with lots of flips and folds to hold all of your sentiments and photos.  This album uses a full pad of Graphic 45 papers, 1/2 pad of the matching solids, ribbon, metals, studs, and lots of black cardstock.  So bright, bold and cheerful, this album is striking and very crafty, great to store your favourite photos, or give as a very special gift.  As this is a 6 hour workshop, included in the class price, Paper Flourish is offering lunch and refreshments.

Due to the anticipated popularity of this project, we do not expect lesson packs to be available, so please book in early to ensure your seat.  To book you will either need to ring the store or book on-line.  Once you have done this, to guarantee your seat, you also need to contact the store with your $75 non-refundable deposit, or you may wish to pay in full.  Although non-refundable, in the case of emergency, your booking is transferrable to another person for the same date.

Using the gorgeous Scrap Studio Collection from Kaisercraft, Tania has created this fabulous set of six cards.  Create one, two or all six whilst relaxing in a fun friendly environment.  You will have plenty of leftovers and it’s a great way to build up a stash of cards for those last minute occasions.

Join Vicki as she teaches you how to make these two unusual, fun, and fold Christmas pyramid cards.  Beautiful rich colours have been used with an added touch of gold and silver for some Christmas sparkle. Vicki  will show you three very different ways you can make these cards which can be folded flat for posting to your family and friends, just in time for the festivities to begin. Stamps, Shimmer powder and more stamps is what has inspired this  journal page.  Dive in to colour and movement on the page as Emma teaches you the basics of Journal Art. Also, this class is all about using what you may have in your stash, so if you have any inks, mists, sprays or watercolour paint you would like to use, then please bring them.

13@rts Chalk Mist Demonstration with Emma – Free

Let’s play with the 13arts chalk mists! Emma will show you the best way to get the most out of these bright colour mists. This is a great demo for anyone who would like to try mixed media or just wanting to add that splash of colour to a card or project. Come see Emma as she talks you through these amazing products. We will also be having a special 30% off all 13arts mists, acrylic paints and splash inks on the day.

Marina had such fun making these gift boxes.  The die set is so versatile and there are so many things you can do with it, the ideas are endless.  One great idea is goodie boxes for friends or teachers this Christmas.  They are so easy to put together, that you will be wanting to make some for all your parties and gift giving no matter what the occasion.

All Day Event with Ruth & Sonia $89

Deep hues of blue, plum, and cream come together in this striking Prima paper.  In this deluxe lesson pack you will receive a full A4 paper pack, a large doily die, a flourish die, a full Prima chipboard pack, a full Prima flower/butterfly pack, some more Prima flowers, lots of gold foil, along with the usual lace, additional butterflies, resin frame, doilies, ribbon and bling.  Using lots of different techniques Ruth and Sonia have made such a stunning set suitable for many occasions.  This is a fully catered event including morning tea, lunch and afternoon tea.  There will be a Paper Flourish scramble (for flowers) and raffle prize for a lucky person.  A day to pamper yourself, leave all your worries behind, and spend time with others who share the same passion.  As this day has limited places, be quick to book your place.

Vicki has one of these sticker machines, and she is in love with it!!  We here at Paper Flourish do not really know what it is she is so in love with.  All we know is we all have to be there to see what the excitement is all about.  Please join us to share in the fun!!!  Watch as Vicki converts different shapes and materials, including die cuts, into usable stickers.  Great for sentiments, stick to card-stock for strength, ready to put on your projects!!

If Monochrome is your thing then you will love these cards. Super easy and eye-catching designs using stencils to create your pattern. With a little patience and a steady hand, you can make lots of these cards in an afternoon. The cards in the photos are just examples of what you can do.

Tools and Inks Used: As part of your class pack you will receive a white pen. Please bring any easy to trace stencils you have as Sonia only has a certain amount on hand.

Journal Art with Emma $15

Join Emma as she teaches you mixed media journaling. Emma will teach the basics in mixed media as well as creating lovely journaling pages with sentiments and plenty of stamping. This is a great class to ignite or re-ignite that passion of journaling into your life. This will be a monthly class.
Please bring an old book with a hard cover you won't mind getting messy with. (no larger than approx size 21.5cm x 16.5cm)

Circular Card & Box Set with Vicki $25

School Holiday FlowerPot with

These school holidays Vanessa has organised something special for the Kids, this class is perfect for your children and grandchildren! Vanessa is going to get the kids totally inspired to create with paint while you will love having a little 'me' time as you browse in the shop or take a little break. Kids are welcome to bring an apron if they wish, and are more than welcome to use supplies in the class. They will be supplied with everything they need to create this flowerpot on the day. Inspiring kids for an Arty future.

Please bring an apron as paints will be available to use on the day as well as other colouring mediums

Sparkling Snowflake with Marina $24

Silver and white, all sparkly and bright is the only way to describe these Christmas cards. Marina will show you how to create these beautiful sparkling snowflake cards using dies and microfine glitter.

Tools & Inks Used: basic tool kit including paper trimmer and scoreboard for scoring card bases(optional), Stampendous ultra fine multi crystal glitter,  various sized foam strips/dots, nested circle dies, clear fishing line and small corner accent dies.

*Note: For this lesson, please bring a 6" double sided tape (or similar), your own manual die cutting machine/plates, OR you can use the paper flourish machine. However we do encourage you to purchase a set of  C base plates for your basic kit. (This will make creating easier for you and you will get a better cut). Because there is quite a lot of die cutting to be done in this lesson it is best to have your own tools & equipment. This way it can avoid any possible dissappointment if projects don't get finished.

Lovely Florals with Kasia $15

Kasia will be focusing on a couple of the new release floral stamp sets and dies from Paper Rose. You will learn how to colour images in a number of different styles & colour ways.
