Lavinia Alcohol Inks Backgrounds with Julie - $28

Sebastian takes centre stage in this month’s Lavinia Cards joined by Faith and two new stamps to Paper Flourish, Moon Pods & Faerie Spells. Join Julie as we explore together the use of Alcohol Inks to create beautiful backgrounds which we will then bring to life with the amazing Lavinia Stamps. During the class you will make 4 cards using Julie’s cards as inspiration. Julie will take you through the process of stamping onto Yupo Paper as well as using the Lift Ink technique to print from the Yupo paper to Cardstock. During the class Julie will demonstrate how to use Alcohol Inks on the Gel Press. A class full of colour, fun & technique.

Die Cutting Machine Demo

This demonstration will give you information about how to use and care for your die-cutting machine, the differences between machines, the price ranges, manual and electric machines, and which machine may suit your needs. You will be shown various techniques including how best to keep your plates flat, how to get the best cut from your dies, and the use of die release paper. Lots of information, hints, and tips.

Each month Paper Flourish hosts Copic Club events.  These functions are an opportunity for people to learn from each other, show your projects, practice new techniques, and have a lot of fun.  Ideal for the beginner, advanced or any person who has a passion to learn everything about colouring with Copic.  There will be hand-outs, colouring challenges, and of course you will continue to receive your FREE Copic Sketch Marker at every meeting.    SPECIAL - As a member of the Copic Club you will receive the reduced Copic Club price of $8.30 on all Copic Sketch Markers.  Open to all Copic fans but remember to book your place on our website.

Deluxe Lesson with Ruth & Marina - $89

Do you need a day of luxury?  Come along and join Ruth and Marina in a relaxing and fun-filled day and create some of these amazing cards.  Not all will be created on the day as there is soooooo many but full instructions are provided in your big, product-filled deluxe lesson pack so you can finish creating at home at your leisure.  Such beautiful cards in their soft hues of delicate blues, this is a set you will love. This is a fully catered event including morning tea, lunch and afternoon tea.  A day to pamper yourself, leave all your worries behind, and spend time with others who share the same passion.  As this day has limited places be quick to book your place.  To confirm your booking and reserve your place, you will need to ring the store 08/8262 2571 to pay a $40 deposit.

Hi to all our Paper Flourish community,

I wanted to update you with what is happening here at Paper Flourish.  We are now open again with our regular hours:

Monday - Wednesday & Friday 10am - 2pm

Thursday 10am - 8pm

Saturday 9am - 5pm

After much discussion related to the safe welfare of staff and customers, we have decided to release In-store classes for December.  We have been able to implement safety precautions such as individual work-spaces as required, supplying gloves, masks are available to purchase for $2.00 as needed, all supplied catering for functions will have individual potions of food and drinks.  Social distancing can be adhered to throughout the store, we have a COVID Marshall rostered daily, all staff must not attend work if unwell, and we ask customers not to attend classes or Paper Flourish if they are not well. 
Overall, all the necessary precautions are in place to run the classes safely for you to attend. 

If you have extra requests such as your own workspace or anything else, then please ring the store before your class to talk to our friendly staff.

It is paramount we maintain the safest environment for you to ensure you stay well and enjoy your time at Paper Flourish. Thank you so much for your patronage throughout 2020, it is acknowledged and has been appreciated allowing Paper Flourish to survive and stay open for your further enjoyment and convenience.

Thank you to all who attended our new Copic Club in August. Everyone said they had fun and enjoyed the Club whether they were Beginners or Advanced.  Again, Ruth or Vanessa will teach a Copic technique at the September Club meeting, the price of Copic will be cheaper ($8.30) for those who attend the meetings. There will be hand-outs, colouring challenges, and of course you will continue to receive your FREE Copic Sketch Marker at every meeting. Our second Copic Club meeting will focus on the blending technique, and you will be provided with a pack to take home and make a beautiful card. Ruth and Vanessa would love to see you at Paper Flourish for your second Club meeting.  Open to all Copic fans but remember to book your place on our website.

Julie will take you through the process of constructing the Album & pages along with the decoration of the Album. This project will be completed over 2 months, September & October.
